Sit-com writer and family moved into a white walled, featureless home in Studio City and jointly created this nostalgic, comfortable home filled with original, contemporary, and retro art work. Many of the furniture pieces were custom designed including the living room occational tables, retro looking stereo cabinets, and other pieces that stood up to the level of quality side by side with Baker furniture items.
The family wanted a home that reminded them of the past, so the finishing touches gave added nostalgic character.
The custom stereo cabinet with a coarse fabric to resemble the Victrolas of the 1940s were mixed with a Scandinavian and mid-century modern, Art Deco, and Craftsman to create a unique blend with the past.
